What We Believe

Verbal Inspiration

At The Well Community Church, we are deeply committed to the truth of verbal inspiration. We believe that every single word in the Bible has been divinely inspired by God himself and has tremendous meaning and value for our daily lives. We take this truth seriously and strive to make it the foundation of all our teachings and beliefs.

We know that the Bible is more than just a collection of words and stories. It is the living, breathing word of God that has the power to transform hearts and minds. As we open our hearts and minds to the truth of scripture, we are constantly amazed at how relevant and practical it is for our lives today.

Whether we are facing challenges at work, struggling in our relationships, or just trying to make sense of the world around us, the Bible is always there to provide us with guidance and wisdom. It is a source of comfort, inspiration, and hope that has been passed down from generation to generation.

At The Well Community Church, we are grateful for the gift of verbal inspiration and the transformative power of the Bible. We invite you to join us on this incredible journey as we explore the riches of God’s word together.

Virgin Birth

The Well Community Church reveres the birth of Jesus as one of the greatest miracles to have occurred in human history. Our faith rests on the premise that Mary, the mother of Jesus, conceived Him through the Holy Spirit without any physical intervention from a man. We wholeheartedly accept the virgin birth as a fact, based on the testimony of the Bible, and view it as a cornerstone of our faith.

It was the beginning of a remarkable story that would change the course of humanity forever. In a tiny manger in Bethlehem, the son of God was born to Mary, a young virgin who was chosen to carry the divine seed. Shepherds from nearby fields, alerted by angels, came to pay homage to the new king of kings, who was wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger.

The virgin birth was not a mere fable or allegory; it was a historical event that actually took place. The Bible speaks of it unequivocally, and we, as Christians, accept it as truth. This is a testimony of God’s grace and power, and the fulfillment of prophecy.

Blood Atonement

We believe in the power of the blood atonement. It is through Jesus’ selfless act of sacrificing himself on the cross that we are redeemed and saved from our sins. The significance of this act cannot be understated; it is the cornerstone of our faith.

Imagine for a moment a world without the blood atonement. A world in which we are all left to bear the weight of our sins alone, without the hope of forgiveness. It is a bleak and desolate reality that we are saved from, thanks to Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice. We recognize the depth of Jesus’ love for us, which led him to shed his innocent blood so that we could have eternal life. It is through the blood atonement that we can find hope, comfort, and peace in the knowledge that our sins have been forgiven.

We know that we are not worthy of such a gift, but that is the beauty of the blood atonement. It is an act of love and mercy that we do not deserve, but are blessed to receive. As we come together as a community of believers, we celebrate and honor this incredible gift that Jesus has given us.

Bodily Resurrection

we are steadfast in our belief in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. We hold onto the truth that he rose from the dead on the third day, just as he promised. We find solace in the knowledge that he lives on, having ascended to Heaven to be with the Father.

The resurrection of Jesus is the cornerstone of our faith. It gives us hope that there is life beyond the grave. We find comfort in knowing that we too can one day rise again in glory, to be reunited with our loved ones and our Savior.

The bodily resurrection of Jesus is more than just a historical fact; it is a life-altering event that continues to impact our lives today. It gives us the strength to face our daily challenges with renewed vigor and inspires us to live each day to the fullest.

Second Coming

The Well Community Church holds a deep and abiding belief in the second coming of Christ. For us, this event represents the culmination of all things and the ultimate realization of God’s plan for the world.

The second coming of Christ is not something for Christians to fear or dread, but rather something to be eagerly anticipated and celebrated. For we know that on that day, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.

Indeed, it is this hope that sustains us in difficult times, and it is this promise that guides our steps and shapes our decisions. As we look to the future, we do so with great excitement and anticipation, knowing that the best is yet to come.
